Hatch Africa is pioneering a new business model across sub-Saharan Africa to bring eggs and chickens to every household. Founded in 2010, Hatch Africa’s purpose is to make farmers healthier and wealthier with a vision to achieve one chicken per person per year in each country where it operates.
Ahead of a new round of investment, the team at Hatch Africa approached BitterSweet for a rebrand reflecting the innovation and care at the center of their work. Our team, inspired by the checked pattern of the feed bags used by Hatch on their farms, developed a bright, flexible graphic identity system reminiscent of the on-the-ground handy work of the farmers they serve and the tech-forward solutions that empower them.
